Sponsorship

I am so excited to finally be sponsoring a child in the hopes of giving him a better life than he has right now. His name is Andrew Kandawula and he lives in an HIV/AIDS affected community in Uganda. He and I have the same birthday, except that he is only four years old. I can't wait to write him, send him toys, and to receive updates from him and how he is doing. One of these days, when I have enough money saved, I am going to plan a trip to Uganda and meet him.

The Lord has been tugging at my heart to do this, and now that I finally did, I truly couldn't be any more happy. If only I could sponsor a handful of children. I love this boy already, and please, keep him in your prayers!

Andrew is a young boy who lives only with his grandparents. He has no brothers or sisters and his parents whereabouts are unknown. In this community in Uganda, AIDS has affected the entire social structure as a generation of hardworking adults are being wiped out, and this could be the reason as to why he does not live or have communication with his parents.

Here is a little more about him:

Born: Dec 12, 2004
Grade: 0 (Not attending school)
Favorite Subject: Drawing
Health: Satisfactory
Favorite Play: Ball Games
Gender: Boy
Chores: Sweeps
Country: Uganda

I am so excited to finally be a part of this. Thank you, Lord, and thank you World Vision.

PLEASE EVERYONE, keep Andrew in your prayers!
